Nebulosa Picante
Sphira

BriefThe team requested a logo inspired by geometric patterns found in nature, such as the Fibonacci spiral and sacred geometry, to symbolize growth and balance. It also needed to express the idea of expanding one’s comfort zone, drawing from forms like the torus to convey flow and continuous movement.

The identity had to be dynamic and adaptable—evolving through motion and color—while maintaining a sense of fluidity, openness, and versatility across various formats and materials.

NamingThe name comes from a combination of three words selected during a team brainstorming session; space (an expanse of the ground), spiral (to turn, twist, wind), and spirit (breath of life).

Möbius StripThere is a close relationship between the torus (a doughnut-shaped figure) and the Möbius strip. The latter is the result of joining two opposite points (u, v) and (v, u) on a toroid, creating a shape in which both sides merge to form a single one.

It serves as a powerful analogy for the interconnectedness of our internal and external worlds—the apparent contradictions of everyday life are not opposing sides of a coin, but rather moments that create harmony through their synergy. Similarly, it reflects the relationship between the microcosm and the macrocosm. Everything is connected!

I didn't want to create a general Möbius strip shape; on the contrary, the focus remained on spirals, golden ratios, and ammonites, but this time with the characteristic Möbius strip twist.

Before modeling the shape digitally, I decided to make a few prototypes with clay to understand and choose the shape with the best proportions, and that was visually attractive from different points of view. This prototype is flying from Spain to Vietnam :)

ColorsFrom the beginning, the color of the coffee shop's facade has been important. We decided to maintain different shades of orange with transitions to its complementary color, translating the twist of the form into the twist of the color.

These are some views of the logo, each of which can be used in different contexts to show different facets of the brand.

I also created a flexible visual system to establish the foundation for the menu, posters, business cards, social media assets, and pictograms.
